As a close friend of Ben's I can say that he is a great guy. Keep in mind that Ben received his undergrad. degree from Velvet with graduate degrees from Prof. Kaenzig at U-M. It is difficult to find a better pedigree. At Michigan I sat through many Wednesday afternoon studio classes with him and his comments and instruction were always exceptional and right on the money.
I encourage you to take a look at his resume and the different awards and teaching accomplishments he's already received. They basically speak for themselves.
And if you ever get a chance to go to England and sip a Boddington's with Ben, take it.
