Interesting variation. The magnet is probably about the same strength as the Ohio magnet. I can imagine some devastating damage that could occur with the inertia part of that tool, and normally dent balls do not "like" to stay right underneath dents when there is a lot of action involved.

Typically, bows of that size (tuba top bows, euphonium bottom bows) are absolutely the easiest to repair utilizing a magnetic tool anyway, and that small dent would rub right out with a "Dent Eraser" (without any beating). [Why was the bow removed from the instrument? If a bow is already removed, why use a magnet?]

The movie itself, seems a bit...uhh..."symbolically provocative" (??). I think I recall having been exposed to similar short-feature movies from Italy back in the 60's.
