Thanks for the advice, but I may have not been clear about what I was asking.
I've been searching for a helicon for awhile, and I have it narrowed down to a couple of possibilities.
I was basically asking if anyone else out there plays an old Conn BBb helicon, and if so, what mouthpiece they might recommend.
I had a private e-mail this evening in which a BBS-er recommended about four different types he uses on his Conn BBb helicon.
About the analogy - why couldn't someone give their opinion on tires before you bought your car?
