Singleton passed away several years ago, so I doubt there many new issues by him. He was swingin player, but mostlyu worked "live". You guys should check out Joe "Country" Washburn, who is available for listening on reissues of 1920s Ted Weems records, and of course later with Spike Jones. He played a Martin. Also, check out reissues of Red Nichols and Miff Mole, and Phil Napleon and Nat Shilkret records to hear Joe Tarto. Listen for Ralph Escudero on early Fletcher Henderson sides, and later, when Don Redman went with McKinney's Cotton Pickers a guy named June Cole on tuba.
And you're all missing the boat if you don't listen to Adrian Rollini on bass saxophone on records from 1924 through 1931. He was a certifiable genius, and his stuff translates perfectly to tuba - I know, I've stolen lots of his licks over the years.
