Scott,

You may want to try:
--"Kaleidoscope" (in three volumes)by Gilles Senon. (pub. Billaudot)
--Contemporary Studies (this one is in a blue cover and comes, I think, like 13 levels or something crazy like that. Unfortunately, I didn't bring them with me to China. Perhaps someone can fill in the blanks for me/you on this one)
--Ten Grand Concert Etudes by Oskar Franz (pub. Friederich Hofmeister Musikverlag)
--Blazhevich...ALL FOUR BOOKS. Every one knows the standard first two, but there is also a "Studies in Melodic Sequencing" and there is a set of 50 studies in the William Bell tuba school.
(SHAMELESS PLUGS)
--For a hairier chest, I have a low register book that you can get from WindSong Press.
--You may also want to try the Bach Two-Part Inventions (also available from WindSong Press) Good music, the first part is easy, the second part may require an iron lung....

Cordially,
Micky Wrobleski
