The engraving on the B&M's varied quite a bit. I've seen one that simply said "York"--no "Master".
As for Grand Rapids Yorks, there's even a finer distinction. The pre-WWI Yorks are built a bit differently from the later ones. Generally, heavier metal, different cap and wire, wider ferrules and different bell shapes. I like the old ones better than the ones from the 20's and 30's.
