Charlie left WWBW for his home state of Texas in 1999 or so (I can't remember the exact year) to work with Brook Mays in establishing the world's finest tuba shop.
As I recall he stayed on with Brook Mays for 3 or so years before he parted ways and went into the insurance industry for a bit.
Charlie is still in the DFW area and now works for a large national music retailer (whose name escapes me) as a rep and teaches private lessons to mostly high school students. The last time I saw him was at the TMEA convention in San Antonio where he was working for the previously mentioned music store.
He drops in on the BBS every now and then, so perhaps you'll run into him.
