Looks fine to me. The cover letter is more of a formality anyway. Has almost zero bearing on the outcome. They will look at the resume and unless you have some professional experience in the field you are applying into they will send back a badly photocopied no thank you letter. Usually in that same letter though is information on how to audition anyway even though you were denied.
There are few large ensemble groups which refuse to hear someone whom they initially rejected based on resume alone.
