I had nothing but trouble with the valves in my Yorkbrunner for the first three years that I owned it. I thoroughly cleaned it (thoroughly) at least 3 times, tried polishing the pistons (lightly), tried numerous solvents, etc. all to no avail. They would still stick even if I had just oiled them. It got to the point where I was worrying about my valves rather than just making music.....until - I saw a post here on the board where someone had stated that Hirshbrunner recommended the Hetman Light Piston valve oil. Since I changed to it 4 months ago it has been a wonderful change. The Brasswind has it as do some other stores. Give it a try.

Good luck
Roger
