Who teaches tuba (AT) UOP (University of the Pacific)? Floyd Cooley used to teach the students there many, many moons ago. I guess it just didn't work out. I'm also familiar with the Alex. that Tony mentioned. I bought Jim Murray's M.W. BBb after he got the Alex. I was all of 17. I'll tell ya, that Alex. was one h_ _ _ _ of a horn! What a steal. Rates right up there with the old Holton that Floyd sold to Peter Warhoftig (spelling?)in my feeble memory cells. Why is it that rich folk never have interesting hobbies - like tuba collecting? I guess it's better that they don't, or we'd be like the violin world.
