Now, that said, I would like to say that this did not start as a discussion of my views. This started as my response to a view which I found arrogant and offensive. Instead, it turned into a personal attack on me because my view was "unpopular". Posters assuming that because I didn't agree with them that I must be a bad teacher, underpaid, disgruntled or whatever. In fact the opposite is true. I am passionate about my work and it angers me to see others belittling it. As for language, there is plenty of foul stuff on this BBS so don't rag on me. All of the personal attacks have been directed at me, I have only retaliated to provocation. Apparently this is an open forum only if you agree with the majority.
This is my last post in this stain, but I will be back. It's late and I have to work in the morning.
