I'm a tuba major in college and an amateur repair tech. I also play in the marching band here, as well as working with a number of other marching bands. I find that I am forever working on sousaphones (usually for free, unfortunately), and spare parts are difficult and expensive to acquire. If anybody out there has any beaten, old, dying, playable or not, sousaphones collecting dust, please drop me a line! I could really put them to VERY good use. Like I said, I'm in college, so money is not something I have a tremendous surplus of, but I'll pay for what you have, as well as shipping costs to get it here.
