who plays a BIG 5/4 Rudy, a truly wonderful large-sounding ensemble horn.
Personally, I think this horn (current model 50S?) counts as a "6/4"
but then who am I to say? Tony used one for a while in the SJ symph
GREAT sound. Quite a different sound from my big Jacobs-model Holton
and my York-ish 4/4 BM. If you are shopping for a big horn and find a good one
of these, BUY it! And if you don't buy it tell me about it!
