Lodging:
The closest place to stay is the Arlington Days Inn. It is located on U.S. Highway 50 and Pershing Drive in Arlington, Virginia. It is literally across the street from Ft. Myer. It is really the only place you can stay and still walk to the conference activities. They will be giving a special rate to people attending the conference. It is $54.00 per night for single or double occupancy. When you call to make a reservation you must call the direct line 703-525-0300 and then dial extension 301. You will need to talk to Mrs. Martienez. She is the person handling the reservations for the conference. If she is not there, I would suggest that you leave a message and have her call you back to book the reservation. You must identify yourself as being with The Army Tuba-Euphonium Conference to get this rate. If you try to call the Days Inn 800 number to book a room you will not get the conference rate.
