Another one, although it's not driven by tuba solos, would be Miles Davis' Birth Of The Cool. It's not as far gone as some of Miles's later stuff (which I also greatly enjoy), but it is a tasty album, even if the tuba is playing a mostly supporting ensemble role.

Also, get the CD with Wycliffe Gordon and another trombonist (can't remember his name offhand) called Bone Structure. There's only one track with any tuba (Wycliffe plays it), but there are scary levels of musicianship on the whole CD. I've heard people say that Wycliffe is a better player than his colleague Wynton (um.. that trumpet guy, if you have to ask...), and I'm inclined to agree... (!)

FWIW, as enlightening and entertaining the other CD's mentioned below are, I think a more varied listening exerience will help bring something different to the table.
