Thanks Mike, and thanks to Klaus, too. I wondered where the Rudy factory was, I hope to check it out. I'm planning to get to Prague, but time may not permit a side venture to the Cervenny factory. I know where it is as well as the Amati, and VMI. Part of the problem may be convicing SWMBO that I really NEED to go to another tuba factory. She's a drummer, so go figure!
Can you shed any light on difficulties with rental cars into the Czech Republic? Last time I was in Europe was 1996 and at that time the rental car companies had a restriction on going into the old Eastern Bloc countries. I haven't pursued this with a rental company yet, I'm not going until June.
Thanks for the advice. I will contact the factories prior to my visit to make sure it of the timing.
