JDR: If you are a professional player (perhaps even an aspiring professional) and these are the tools of your trade, you should be able to keep them even in a bankruptcy. If you have money troubles and are selling your horns because of it, you really need good legal advice BEFORE you do anything stupid, like sell your instruments at fire sale prices. You should consult with a bankruptcy specialist in your area RIGHT NOW, TODAY.
