I have owned two new German-made tubas in the last three years, and upon delivery I found the bloody valve caps screwed on too tight. I used a small strap wrench to loosen the five bottom rotor caps on my Mirafone 186 CC. But my new Meinl Weston 2145 fiver (4+1) doesn't have space to get at some of the caps. How am I going to clean the valves? WHY do the Germans screw the caps on so tight? Any others out there experiencing this problem?
