to all who are looking for the catelinet/vaughan wiiliams recording, it was reissued on cd by emi in 1998. it is a 2 cd set that contains in addition to the tuba concerto, the vw oboe concerto w/evelyn rothwell, sinfonia antartica, the wasps, greensleeves fantasia, five vaiants of dives and lazarus, and elgar intro. and allegro, serenade, and cockaigne overture, all conducted by sir john barbirolli. catalog #cdmb66543. i found this at tower records, lincoln center n.y. store a year or so ago. i'd snatch this up if i were you before it disappears again for another 45 years. i suspect the original 10" lp will be near impossible to find now, especially in the states. harold moores records in london, uk might be a good place to try if you're a collector. good luck, best regards.......
