Don't worry about "whatever"; they've got the problem they're warning you about!

I use the same setup you do, a YBB641 and a Conn Helleberg. I also sometimes use other mouthpieces to see if they help me do a particular thing I am working on. With the Helleberg, I notice that I get the sound characteristics I like, but it is much more demanding as far as buzzing the EXACT pitch I want to come out of the horn. I can definitely echo the posts down the list that talk about working on centering the tone because this mouthpiece is not very forgiving. It's my favorite however because of the full, rich, resonant sound it allows me to produce. Keep working and things will assuredly get even better!
