Is the horn a good, free-blowing, in-tune instrument?
Does the horn allow you to produce your ideal sound?
Does the horn FEEL right?
All other things being equal, is this the horn that you want to buy?
If the answer is yes to all of these questions, buy it. Then look at whether it has pistons or rotarys.
