Matter of fact, I did have the pleasure of playing on Bill Bell's skinny Cervany CC, the one he is pictured with in his first method book. It was in Walter Sear's studio (This was 1966, I think.) He had just finished having it completely overhauled, so it was like new, and he was handling it VERY gently because the metal was paper-thin, but he let me play on it for as long as I liked. He wanted $450 for it, but I didn't have that kind of money to throw around. (sob!) Then a week later out of the blue I received a retroactive pay check for $500. I called Walter immediately, but he had just packed it up and sent it to someone in Georgia. AUGGHH..
