It was great fun hanging out at Dillon Music on Thursday while Matt worked on my horn. Some of the highlights included:
- seeing the "elephant graveyard" of tuba parts in the basement.
- playing all those great horns. (Now I'm lusting after a new Willson that I can't afford yet. :-)
- talking with Matt and Richard both there and at lunch. (Actually I spent most of my time listening because I'm not much of a talker and they had great stories to tell.)
- And especially, Richard's help in getting me back to the train station in time. The local cab company was no help here, even though we called with about an hour to spare. So Richard graciously offered to drive me back as Matt worked on his horn. Thanks again Richard! (Let me know how your Rudy turned out!)
