Hi Ken,
I have to admit that I have not heard Chuck play the CB horn, my impressions are based strictly on hearng him in concert, years ago using the small Yamaha 621, and then most recently, on the newer Yamaha carbon fiber bell instrument. I just feel that the smaller instrument matched the other horns better, making a lighter, brighter ensemble. Purely my own personal opinion.
