Not as much time on the F(I went off F's cold-turkey when I bought the 983). Besides the 488 was so sweet I could hardly put it down.
A different take on exhibits; no one was playing the instruments! Just walking past and smiling at the pretty displays. When I sat down to play it was like I was the first one to test a horn, -ever. People weren't mad, just pleasantly puzzled. Mirafone and Yamaha were also at this conference and, except for one guy testing a trombone, the Marine Band guys seemed to be the only ones interested in actually putting the horns through their paces. Anyone else see this in Europe? Am I out of my mind?(quite possible). Granted, most folks here were band directors, but there were plenty of players lurkiung around that week. What was it like at the ITEC?
Just some Friday afternoon thoughts.
