Conn listed the 32K in their 1934 "Bass" catalog as a "Lightweight Sousaphone." I quote:

"The 32K Lightweight Sousaphone was created to meet the insistent and growing demand for a light-weight sousaphone possessing the same general design and quality of performance as the 38K Sousaphone Grand. ... Although of the same bore through the valves and major portion of the tubing as the famous 38K, our engineers have ingeniously designed the instrument in respect to rings, bracings, ferrules and valve caps so as to reduce the weight by more than two pounds, making it weigh about 26 pounds. Built in BBb. Standard 24-inch bell."

The 38K was the predecessor of the 20K, just without the short action valves. So, the only difference between the 32K and a 20K is lighter weight braces, etc., regular action valves, and a 24" bell rather than a 26" bell. Sounds very much like a 14K.
