Applicants are heard in the order they appear at the registration table. Finalists at the last audition were announced after the first 10 were heard and after every 5 thereafter(if there were any). Be advised that players may be asked to stow hard cases in a secure area outside of the holding room, as you can imagine with a room full of tuba players and their horns, space can get tight. For those driving, bring a healthy supply of quarters to feed the parking meters, as the enforcement people in DC are, to say the least, ruthless. Also, many of the roads in the immediate vicinity are under construction so allow an extra few minutes to get into the neighborhood and find a parking spot. Questions? email me. Thanks.
