For future reference, Conn serial numbers are on the UMI website (below). There isn't a central source for older Conn model numbers, but what you have is one of the most common models. Short action valves makes it a 2XJ. The 2XJ models are as follows:
Model Valves Bell
20J 3 top Recording
21J 3 top Upright
22J 3 front Recording
23J (?) 3 front Upright
24J 4 top Recording
25J 4 top Upright
26J 4 front Recording (Also used this model for other tuba designs)
27J (?) 4 front Upright
