Dale, this sucks - all of the good stuff happens on the same weekends. I'll be playing percussion in the Mahler 6th with Redwood Symphony on Sunday afternoon. I'll even be doubling Peter (tuba) at on spot in the finale for four whole bars - starting on the 5th bar of rehearsal #160. The basstrombone and tuba can really use some help at that spot - and that's truly in nearly all performances.
