I am not sure where you are from, but I would like to tell you about my experiences at the University of Northern Iowa. Jeff Funderburk is the tuba professor here. I am a junior tuba major on exchange at UNI from the University of Massachusetts for this year. This is my first semester working with Dr. Funderburk. He is an amazing tuba instructor. Every week at my lesson he has a new exercise that targets a particular problem he sees in my playing that week. And the exercise always work, and I end up going back the next week playing better.
