Don't base your remaining abilities on euphonium on a day of playing. I had to march a semester in college on euphonium after being on tuba for 6 or so years. It took a week to get comfortable and a month or so to become about 90% as proficient as I was on tuba. If you have good high chops on tuba it will translate to euphonium with a normal amount of practice, just don't do anything silly to hurt your lips. I just did some slow warmups/etudes to work my lips back into shape and usually followed up with a few series of lip slurs. I wouldn't try to overwork yourself in just a few practice sessions though. I remember staring down the barrels of all the other euphonium players when I switched that semester but after I rocky start I found that the human brain has a remarkable memory for sensations.

May not be what you wanted to hear but it's something.
