I play music for fun. With a small collection of around 37 instruments of all type from all over the world, I have a lot of fun.
I am also a clown, I volunteer at charity events. As a clown I can do a little of a lot of things and get away with it. I bought my sousaphone with the hopes of starting a clown band, but the other clowns are not willing to pick up thier old instuments. So I just play in the local TubaChristmas in Clown. There are opportunities to play in community bands and orchestras but I don't have the time. So I play for myself when I get time.
O Yes, my collection does include two tubas as well as the sousy, alas all in BBb.
