Just another note regarding my helicon. Body is a King raincatcher sousa, bell is a Marzan tuba bell. Previous owner combined them into a horn that plays well. First valve slide moves for fine tuning. Lots of the silver is gone, but there is plenty of metal if one wanted to give it an overhaul. It is in ready to play condition. Valves a bit worn, but I keep them oiled and the work great. The horn plays and has served me well in dixieland and parade situations.
