But: latin SALVE means a sort of greeting; VENERE is the adressive case of VENUS, MARTE the respective of MARS. THe first being goddes of beauty and love, the latter being the god of war and agressiveness in gerneral. So the title translates into english as : HAIL VENUS, HAIL MARS.
