If it's just you and the music, and you don't have the time to learn solfege (altho I highly recommend it) you can play the passage on a piano, singing along, until you have the pitches in your head. Then you'll know what you're hearing when you play it on tuba. Of course the piano is "just" intonation, but the notes are the same, and you can adjust the intonation as needed.
