I cleaned my horn this weekend. Poured a gallon of vinager down the bell. Ran it through all the tubes and shook it around real good. Some nasty greenish looking stuff came out so I guess it is a little cleaner than when I started. Then I rinsed it out real good with soap and water and a garden hose. Then I greased up the slides real good and oiled the valves. Used a little silver polish on a few spots that needed it and it looks pretty good now. It's probably not as good as a professional dip. I'm sure it is my imagination but the horn does seem to play better now.
