Okay, I've finally pulled my head out of the sand! While searching for a recording of Koetsier's "Kinderzirkus" for BQ, I "stumbled" across a recording by the London Brass ("Clowning Around," 1990). Omigosh. Oren Marshall knows how to play the tuba. Upon searching the www, I "learned" that he's made quite a name for himself on the UK music scene -- not as just a tuba player, but as a jazz musician. Granted, I currently reside in Waco, TX, but am I the only one who has lead such a sheltered life? Can anyone shed some light re Oren's recordings, activities, etc?
