can you push as much air as you want into it on low registers without getting a bark, and just getting a big fat deep sound. if you can, congratulations, because I couldn't. Have you ever played a large bore instrument that you could comfortably play, and a large bore instrument that made you work twice as hard to fill the damn thing with air because it sucked it out of you. This is a push button and play tuba. The other comfortable playing tuba is like the Culbertson. personally I prefer the one that sucks it all out of you (american), because you can get such a nice deep sound, although it is harder to play pp delicately in a small ensemble with them, but once you get the hang of it, it's certainly worth all the effort.
