You can get them from Larry at Leather Specialties. They are moving, but their website is below. They have several precut sizes for certain tuba models and can custom make anything you want. Most of his guards are 3 layers - a soft felt like inner layer, a middle plastic layer to block moisture, and an outer leather layer.
