Don't forget that in a recording that the time -"silent"- can be suspended;
so... it is likly to be out of the realm of reality and not necessarily possible to re-create in "real" time. So you must do what ever is required to realize the music in "real" time. It's also ( I believe ) important to remember that Stravinsky wrote of the importance of the visual impact of the performance too. PUT ON A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
