Pre-WWII Czech craftsmanship

I am not aware of the current level of craftsmanship in Czech manufacturing of brass instruments. However I haven't seen much good coming of Czecholovakia during the commi period, which is not a political statement as the GDR made B&S, Hoyer, Scherzer, Syhre, and Wolfram rotary instruments at a very high quality level.

When I started on brass in 1960, the just about worst instruments one could have were the piston Hüttl's and Lignatone's.

Just found a sample telling, that Hüttl showed great attention to detail during the pre-WWII years. 5 pics to be found through the link given below here.
