If money was no object would I own a Hirsbrunner if I could only pick one tuba? No. I'd rather have a 4/4 Nirschl CC or my current G-50. And no, I'm not just saying that because I own a G-50 now...I bought the G-50 because I really liked it a lot...better than any HB I had tried to date. I'm just not a big HB fan at all...it isn't a money thing, its a personal preference thing, although I would love to try a handmade 5/4 CC like Baltimore Brass had for a few days.
