About 5 years ago, the price of the Hirsbrunner HB-50 was 20,000 CHF from the factory. At today's exchange rate, that would be approximately 13,300 USD. It's likely that the price in Swiss franc is higher today than 5 years ago. Add shipping, insurance and duty, and CMC would still make a profit, but it's not a $10K profit.
