Well, I really blew it!
I got an antique "IMMENSAPHONE" from Ebay about six months ago.
My friends -Lowel Tayler and John Thomas- two very talented
low brass repairman, overhauled it and it proved to be as good
a BBb horn as I've ever played.
BUT NO! I couldn't be content with a great BBb horn, I had to
have a CC! I took it upon myself to, as you might guess,
COMPLETELY RUIN THE GREAT INTONATION OF THIS MAGNIFICENT INSTRUMENT!
I called My friend Bob Rusk who has given me invaulable advice on
several other projects, to ask what might be done to salvage this horn.
He told Me if I could find the NODE of turbulance for the note
or notes in question (sharp mid staff G) I might enlarge the horn
in that location to "flatten out" that note.
So here's My question; is there anybody arround the central coast of
California who has the contact micraphone(s) and conputer software
to help in My quest for the "G" Node.
Thanks, Brian "Good Gigs" Kane.
