So, your point is, we CAN see them (which increases the attraction) and they CAN'T see us (also increases the attraction). Makes sense!
I figure it this way: traditions being what they are, a large percentage of the women in the band play flute. So, if they are going to date a band member, it's going to be:
a trumpet player (big ego)
a french hornist or clarinet player (too stuffy)
a drummer (yeah, right)
a trombonist (too immature)
a sax player (see "a drummer" above)
or a tuba player (fun-loving, selfless, generous, and devilishly handsome!)
