The bell is the same as on the 88H, only there is no F attachment. However the 88H term is no invention by no contributor to this board.
One of the latest Conn catalogues, in which the 980G is presented, is from around 1968.
Just scanned these pages and uploaded them to one of my Yahoo sites. As the other ones are filled up quite a bit, I had to create a new group linked to below. Some of the parttakers in this thread have been invited.
The point is, that Conn presents the 90G bell as the one of the 88H.
