Buescher Eb questions

At a violin auction of all things, I've purchased a 1913 Eb Buescher with 3 valves on top that no one was interested in for $200.

The bell is approximately 19.5 inches. Would this be considered a "Monster Eb"? Would anybody know off hand if this horn would be in high or low pitch? I'm not real familiar with Buescher instruments. In this vintage would they have been aimed at the low, middle or high market? Are they considered quality instruments?

The horn has virtually no dents and the valves are fast, but it is heavily tarnished. The horn plays well with a nice tone, but I've been surprised how much it sounds like a small BBb. It does have some interesting intonation issues.

Thanks for any help.
