Go down to your local music shop and pick out the widest leather bass strap that you can find at least 3" to 4". Then get the tall piece that hooks up to the end of the bass and cut off a 4" lenght to be riveted to the top part of the stap to form a loop. Then get the remainder of the tail piece riveted to itself to make another loop. Get two O loops from Builder Emporium or Lowes and some rubber dip to dip them into (this will hook the leather stap to your horn and won't scratch it). I've been using the same strap now for the past 25 years.
