Just uploaded a cluster of thumbnails of an
F tuba Josef Glassl pre-1919
Documenting the Glassl name being active in brass making before the end of WWI. Bell only 11 inches wide. Total height 39 inches. Weight a bit over 4 KG.
The makers shield is in German proving, that this instrument was made while the Austrian double monarchy still existed.
