I used the B&S 18 for about a year when I first got my 3301. It provided nice tone, quick response and a good upper register. I wasn't completely happy with the low end and tried a Heavy Helleberg II (R&S). I have been using it for a couple of months and have found better low end. The jury is still out on it. I think it is taking a bit of time to retrain my lip to the flat rim, but I keep at it and so far having success. It also gets a lot of attention as it looks like I'm blowing into a beer can. It's also heavy enough to use as a weapon if I have a gig in a bad part of town.
